“Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith.” – Steve Jobs

Life can get challenging, and there can be times of utter distress and plunged confidence. Let me tell you it’s unreal it’s just the play of time.

Below is my personally curated list of greatness that would infuse a ton of confidence and wisdom in you.

Be ready to fly.

1) “To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.” – Joseph Chilton Pearce

There is nothing right and nothing wrong (unless you’re killing somebody) it’s all perspective, influenced and corrupted by the experiences and information consumed by us. So, do not fear to be wrong in conventional terms but create what’s real to you.

2) “There’s no such thing as “self-made.”  Someone else believed in you. Someone else encouraged you.  Someone else invested in you. Someone else prayed for you. Someone else spoke life over you.  Be that someone for others, too.” – Marc and Angel Hack Life

Gratitude is the attitude. No matter where you are, what you’ve done, you haven’t done it alone.

Even when it feels like it. There are always people involved.

Thank them, help others climb the ladder.

It’s a no good reason that because you’ve had it the hard way others should go through the same.

Make life easy for people, and because you’ve experienced the challenges first hand, you can.

3) “We live in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else.” – E.E. Cummings

Finding your voice on this crowded planet is a tough affair, one that fails frequently.

Listen to your voice it knows the path.

4) “When you aim for perfection you discover it’s a moving target” – George Fisher

You’ll never be that good, so don’t bother. Just move, because when you do mountains shake as well.

5) “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” – Albert Einstein

No, they are not stupid, even when they don’t even know the President’s name. Everyone comes with a unique offering we’re just too conventionalized to see that.

The world has declared, life happens in XYZ ways, that’s it. Question it, because even the world doesn’t know.

6) “We are kept from our goal not by obstacles but by a clear path to lesser goal.” – Robert Brault

We don’t aim so high falling from where might hurt. That’s just a thought. What hurts more is not trying and to be left wondering.

You know what you want, everybody does, even those who say I don’t even have a clue. You are just ignorant. Sometimes intentionally, sometimes unintentionally, because what you want might sound absurd to even your dog.

But still go try it, don’t settle for a mediocre version of your true potential.

7) “People don’t want to buy a quarter-inch drill. They want a quarter-inch hole!” – Theodore Levitt, Economist

What are you selling? Your product or a benefit. Life is transactional you have to give something to get something. And honestly, nobody wants your product or service or advice or anything for that matter.

People need their convenience, their entertainment. Give them that.

8) “It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts.” John Wooden

Never stop learning, Period.

9) “When nothing is sure, everything is possible.” – Margaret Drabble

This one is my personal favorite. Don’t fear uncertainty, because honestly nothing is certain but uncertainty. You’ve dealt with it all your life fearing it’s a bad thing, but it’s endless opportunity until nothing is fixed you can be flexible. Use it to your advantage.

10) “When all think alike, then no one is thinking.”  – Walter Lippmann

Don’t gather a bunch of yes sir people around you. Bring in the difference have your beliefs be questioned, and your answers be tested.

The more you face opposing views the better you know why you’ve chosen what you’ve chosen to believe.
